so, you know how I talked about the CS2 coaching? well, it's a bit underwhelming, they just teach me how to do callouts (报点), and pretty much tell me to hop on an aim trainer. I'm somewhat disappointed by it, but apparently I improved quite fast at it, considering I'm an adult I don't really feel as "hyped" or "excited" over videogame performance, but it's a relief that I'm still able to learn things quite quickly.
I decided to "ditch" the coaching and take matters into my own hands and decided to get into Kovaak's, an aim trainer, and I just spend around 45-60mins a day on it, it's pretty hard and demanding, but I can feel the improvements.
I joined this "aiming" group called Voltaic, and apparently they had benchmarks, and I think I did pretty good.
That's not all though, on top of Kovaak's, in CS2 you have to learn a lot of things, I'm not going to explain all the technical terms because I am not a fucking nerd 🤓, but pretty much you need to learn how to throw your grenades, so I've been using this service called refrag.gg that lets me practice them, I learned most of them already.
I also decided to install this app called 完美世界 (perfect world), which is apparently the chinese platform in order to play the game online with other people from mainland china, I had to verify with my passport, wait 72 hrs, and I got verified, the coaching was supposedly up to C+, but when I played my placement matches, let's say I did better than I expected and I got B+ instead.
I think it's been really fun so far but I'm prolly gonna cut back on the hours, there's so many other things I wan't to do and so many other things a people I need to take care of and spend time with.
My sister's wedding is soon so I'm also going to figure that out, it's a bit sad that I have to spend such an important moment on my sister's life in my room, and I'm unable to give her company, it's really sad being so far away from my family, but I must remain strong so I don't worry them, and its unfair from me to make things about myself, so I will make sure to give her a call and give her my best wishes, she's my sister after all.
Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention, while I was playing CS2, I made a group of friends, and they invited me to their WeChat group, and we play together, it's been fun to not having to perform all these things (that I want to do) alone, company is always nice.
